Praia Grande
competes with Maranduba
and the Perequê-Açú
beaches for the titel of the most frequented place of Ubatuba.
Its kiosks offer heaven and hell to attract the
visitors; from super cold, almost frozen drinks, up to live
music with local or visiting bands and combos.
Throughout all summer this beach is the homeplace for the
"Projeto Verão" ("Summer Project") where
all kinds of attractions are presented.
Great for surfing. Several Surfing Championships already took
place on its waves, that together with the Itamambuca
beach are a surfers paradise. Its a neighbour of Toninhas
