The name comes
from the colour of its waters that reflect the lush green of
the surrounding vegetation. Great place for an ecological
trip, where one can see the biodiversity of the Mata
Atlântica in its original state. Animals, birds and plants
live together in harmony in this paradise located almost at
the foot of the mountain range.
The access is made by Maranduba
passing thruogh the district of Sertão da Quina, where it
competes with the cascades of Correa,
Renata and Água
Branca for the title of the most accessed and beautiful
spot of the region.
